Minutes of the AGM, held at Burton Banter 19/02/26

Meeting opened at 19.09

Presentation of chairman’s report:

_At the time of the AGM last year there were 11 members, of whom 9 played on a regular or semi-regular basis.

We currently have 16 members, of whom 10 attend on a regular or semi-regular basis.

It is good to see how many members are attending mahjong tournaments and attending subsequent tournaments too.

We launched a website in February last year, which serves as the public face of the club. It’s very basic at the moment though.

We affiliated with the UKMA in March last year, which has given us a larger profile.

We began a club league in May last year, which has proved popular. It will run until April and from May a new league will begin.

We charge no fees and the club handles no money._
